The Sunset Concert is slightly different from usual open-air live concerts and you may feel anxious due to a lack of the information. We hope this page will help you understand the details of the concert.
The entrance fee is free and neither tickets nor registration are needed in advance. However, for the security reasons and during the concert rehearsal, access to some areas in front of the stage will be strictly forbidden. To enter these areas, further information will be given later.
The concert is free but to run the concert and the campaign, we would really appreciate your financial support. This concert is sponsored by lots of support from Niigata-city as well as companies and private organizations.
There is no fixed charge however, but 500 yen (or more) would be appreciated to assist with concert operation expenses.
The concert site will be open at 16:00. You may not enter before that.
*Each person may reserve ground space for up to 4 persons. ( 1mx1m is the space allocated for one person)
*For safety reasons, the opening time and the site entering procedure might be changed. Follow the instructions of staff members and enter calmly.
The Sunset Concert is held on the beach. You will be seated on the sand and so can enjoy the natural atmosphere. There will be no zoning and you may sit anywhere except in the aisles. No baby seats or chairs are provided.
*To secure evacuation routes, you may not stand or view from the aisles.
*For safety reason, you should not lean over the barricades or ropes which separate the aisles.
*When you wish to use foldable chairs, please consider the view for the people behind you.
There is no parking space around the concert site. Please use public transport such as buses or train services. --- to the access information
There is some parking space for cyclists and motorcycles.
Sorry, the running order is not given until the concert day.
Recording and taking photos using cameras, digital cameras, camcorders including mobile phone cameras are prohibited during the concert. You may only take photos of the stage before or after the concert.
Portable restrooms are available at the concert site. You can also use the restrooms at the Nagisa Fureai Centre beside the concert site. Your good mannered use will be appreciated.
Some stalls/shops are opened by sponsors. You may purchase beer, soft drinks, light meals, snacks, photo albums and performers’ CD’s.
A lost and found counter will be set up at the Nagisa Fureai Centre.
If you find any lost property, please hand it over to any staff member or take it to the concert head office.
Lots of mobile phones and keys are lost every year. It is very difficult to find them at night. A cleaning up operation will be carried out on the next day but the probability to find particular items is quite low so please be careful with your belongings.
